Weapons of this period consist of the short sword, shields, lances and spears, short bows, daggers, knives and slings. Armor of the Romans was made mainly of heavy leather. Padding was also used for protection as well as metal and padded leather helmets. Soldiers in the Roman Army wore this thick leather painted Gold to show they were of one Empire. Rank was denoted by shoulder scales that separated each rank accordingly. Now I wont go into it like alot of the rooms do that gets boring and is really stupid because you cant see a uniform here. So in Rome if you are a warrior/soldier look at the tags of the person. Thats how you would know. If there is a particular weapon you want your character to use and you are unsure if it will "fit", please discuss it with the other Warriors in the room to see if it is acceptable. Generally we are pretty open to weapon ideas. But before you go off using a strange weapon please talk to the other warriors because you may need to explain what it is.
